A 6-day plein air painting experience across five luminous locations of Portugal’s West Algarve.
This is not just a course – it’s a creative escape for those who love watercolor, fresh air, and discovery.
Starting in Faro, we move through the West Algarve day by day, exploring shifting light, textures, and atmospheres — from Silves to the forests of Monchique, the marina and cliffs of Lagos, and finally to the “end of the world” at Cabo de São Vicente in Sagres.

Eugen Chisnicean is an internationally respected watercolour painter and teacher. Trained at the Academy of Arts in Chișinău, he has spent many years painting and teaching across Europe and beyond. His approach combines technical precision with bold, expressive freedom, making his workshops both demanding and deeply inspiring.
