Summer is a great time to travel and paint. This time I propose another gorgeous area of France — the Verdon. Lavender fields, huge canyons, rivers and lakes of a turquoise colour, and beautiful villages that blend into a fairy-tale landscape.
On location I made my compositional sketches and colour studies. In this lesson I share my thoughts on the subject.
