French Village

One of my favourite subjects is the French village. Here in France there are hundreds of wonderful villages, most of them well preserved — and what attracts me most is how harmoniously they sit in the landscape.

This time we visit a medieval village perched on a cliff along the Ardèche river. I would like to share my experience and perhaps encourage you to visit and paint this gorgeous place.
